Sigmation's AC Tachometer Generators are self-contained, alternating current generators. They produce a linear output voltage that is proportional to their rotational speed. This voltage can be used to drive a meter for remote readout of RPM or as a feedback signal to a variable-speed drive controller. The alternating current from the Tachometer can also be used to drive digital equipment, such as pulse counter to determine speeds, count parts, measure lengths, etc...
